Dr. Lalh will do a brief review of head and neck anatomy and embryology that pertains to facial development. Define facial beauty and how this is affected with the aging process and sun damage. This will lead to an overview of non-surgical and surgical treatment options for facial rejuvenation. Then a comprehensive discussion of neuromodulators and fillers for facial esthetics. A review of possible complications that can occur with neuromodulator and facial filler therapy. Finally an overview of the multi-disciplinary based University of Alberta Facial Esthetics program being offered through the Continuing Education Department.
