How CDDS Uses Your Personal Information
This policy covers how information that CDDS collects and receives, including information related to your past use of CDDS products and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. This Privacy Policy applies to all of the products, services and websites offered by CDDS Inc. or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies. Sometimes, we may post product specific privacy notices or Help Center materials to explain our products in more detail. This privacy policy only applies to CDDS Members.
This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that CDDS does not own or control or to people that CDDS does not employ or manage.
Collecting And Using Personal Information
Information you provide – When you sign up for a CDDS Membership Account, we ask you for personal information. We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other CDDS services or third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services. For certain services, we may give you the opportunity to opt out of combining such information. You can use the CDDS Dashboard to learn more about the information associated with your Account. If you are using CDDS services in conjunction with your CDDS Account, CDDS provides such services in conjunction with or on behalf of your domain administrator. Your administrator will have access to your account information including your email. Consult your domain administrator’s privacy policy for more information.
CDDS will not sell, license, transmit or disclose this information outside of CDDS and its affiliated companies unless (a) expressly authorized by you, (b) necessary to enable CDDS contractors or agents to perform certain functions for us, or (c) required or permitted by law. In all cases, we will disclose the information consistent with applicable laws and regulations and we will require the recipient to protect the information and use it only for the purpose it was provided.
CDDS only shares personal information with other companies or individuals outside of CDDS in the following limited circumstances:

We provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on our behalf. We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of CDDS, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.
By “personal information,” we mean data that is unique to an individual, such as a name, address, Social Security number, e-mail address, or telephone number. From time to time, we may request personal information from you at our sites in order to deliver requested materials to you, respond to your questions, or deliver a product or service.
In addition to the above, we may use the information we collect to:

If we use this information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected, then we will ask for your consent prior to such use.
CDDS processes personal information is located on our web servers in Canada. In some cases, we transmit personal information outside of Canada when processing transactions via our 3rd Party Processor – PayPal.
When you use CDDS services, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort. Because of the way we maintain certain services, after you delete your information, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems. Your E-mail And Other Communication
We welcome your comments or questions about our products, software, services and website. We will share your comments and questions with our customer service representatives and those employees most capable of addressing your questions and concerns. When you send email or other communications to CDDS, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services. We may use your email address to communicate with you about our services.
Other Information; “Cookies” And “Tags”
You should also be aware that when you visit our products, software, services and websites, we collect certain information that does not identify you personally, but provides us with “usage data,” such as the number of visitors we receive or what pages are visited most often. This data helps us to analyze and improve the usefulness of the information we provide at these products, software, services and websites.
Like most commercial website owners, we may use what is known as “cookie” technology. A “cookie” is an element of data that a website can send to your browser when you link to that website. It is not a computer program and has no ability to read data residing on your computer or instruct it to perform any step or function. By assigning a unique data element to each visitor, the website is able to recognize repeat users, track usage patterns and better serve you when you return to that site. The cookie does not extract other personal information about you, such as your name or address.
We may also use what is known as “client-side page tagging,” “LOG INFO” which uses code on each page to write certain information about the page and the visitor to a log when a page is rendered by your web browser. This technique is also commonly used on commercial products, software, services and websites. “Tagging” does result in a JavaScript program running on your computer, but it is limited to providing information about the page that you are requesting and the configuration of your browser. It will not read any of your data files, or execute any additional programs. It does not extract any personal information about you, such as your name or address. You can prevent tagging by disabling JavaScript in your browser, but that may prevent you from using all of our website’s functions.
Linking To Other Sites
From time to time, the CDDS may provide links to other products, software, services and websites, not owned or controlled by CDDS, that we think might be useful or of interest to you. We cannot, however, be responsible for the privacy practices used by other website owners or the content or accuracy of those other products, software, services and websites. Links to various non-CDDS products, software, services and websites do not constitute or imply endorsement by CDDS of these products, software, services and websites, any products or services described on these sites, or of any other material contained in them. Affiliated CDDS Services on other sites – We offer some of our services on or through other web sites. Personal information that you provide to those sites may be sent to CDDS in order to deliver the service. We process such information under this Privacy Policy.
Third Party Applications
CDDS may make available third party applications, such as gadgets or extensions, through its services. The information collected by CDDS when you enable a third party application is processed under this Privacy Policy. Information collected by the third party application provider is governed by their privacy policies.
Unique Application Number
Certain services planned for the future may include a unique application number that is not associated with you or your account. This number and information about your installation (e.g., operating system type, version number) may be sent to CDDS when you install or uninstall that service or when that service periodically contacts our servers (for example, to request automatic updates to the software).
Choices
You can use the visit your profile page and review and control the information stored in your CDDS Membership Account.
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some CDDS features and services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
Security
CDDS has adopted and adheres to stringent security standards designed to protect non-public personal information at CDDS.com against accidental or unauthorized access or disclosure. Among the safeguards that CDDS has developed for this site are internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, including appropriate encryption and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.
We restrict access to personal information to CDDS employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
Enforcement
CDDS regularly reviews its compliance with this Privacy Policy. In the event that we receive any formal written complaints, it is CDDS’s policy to contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns.
We will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between the CDDS and an individual.
Changes To This Statement
CDDS may change this statement from time to time; when updates are made, the privacy policy version date (located at the bottom of this policy) will also be updated to reflect that a revision occurred. We encourage you to periodically reread this policy to see if there have been any changes that may affect you.
